The PDF (Portable Document Format) was created by Adobe and allows documents to be viewed, printed or saved, including graphics, on any computer system that can use the World Wide Web.

The reason we have gone with this format is that it allows us to distribute our articles in their original format and lock out some of the features such as printing, copying or changing the document as we choose. The most important feature of this new format is that Adobe has made available Free PDF readers for all computers and operating systems. This makes our files available for anyone on the web.
